Abstract
The CoMotion MakerSpace was launched in March of 2015 and has over 800 users, primarily students. It hosts many free intro-level workshops each quarter on 3D printing, laser cutting, Arduino, and sewing, as well as hosting a varied events, from DubHacks workshops to experiential learning "ideathons" like NextSeattle. The MakerSpace's available square footage is expanding by 50%; this request is for additional prototyping components and equipment that have been requested by student users.
