Abstract
The overarching objective of this proposal is to enhance the CEE Geotechnical laboratory capabilities. This laboratory is used by all CEE undergraduate and geotechnical graduate students. We request funding to purchase an advanced direct simple shear test device. This device will enhance all CEE students hands on experience on advanced shear strength concepts.
