Abstract
CSDE Requests funds for Matlab and SPSS licenses for student use on the Terminal Server and the Simulation cluster. Also requested are funds for feature improvements to remote access software used for linux full gui remote sessions. Lastly, we suggest a modest donation to the Open source project "Debian" (from which many distributions such as Ubuntu derive their codebase) - Our students use Debian every day for their work in R, python and many other packages.
