Abstract
This proposal requests funds to purchase a computer with high performance Graphics Processing Units (GPUs) for the Applied Mathematics Computing Lab in Lewis 117. The addition would be a crucial investment allowing students to utilize cutting-edge GPU computing in tackling increasingly challenging computational problems in diverse fields, including data science, neuroscience, and geophysics. This follows up a previously successful proposal from 2012.
