Molecular Genetics Equipment for Shared, Multi-Disciplinary Research Laboratory at the School of Environmental and Forest Sciences
School of Environmental and Forest Sciences
Students working in the School of Environmental and Forest Sciences (SEFS) wish to obtain a digital droplet Polymerase Chain Reaction (ddPCR) system and supporting equipment. This equipment is the foundation for what will be a shared, multi-disciplinary Molecular Genetics (MolGen) Laboratory for the School, where students will learn to successfully analyze environmental samples in molecular genetics research and incorporate digital PCR into their own research projects.
