Abstract

FM radio operates at 0.1GHz, while current generation WiFi is 5.0GHz. This trend of using higher frequencies is needed to support ever increasing demands in the telecommunication and remote sensing fields. The UW currently lacks student accessible testing equipment at frequency ranges greater than 7GHz. To fulfill these needs, we propose to purchase a Keysight FieldFox 50.0GHz combination vector network analyzer and spectrum analyzer.
