Abstract
In 2003, our department (CEE) established a modern computing center dedicated to student use. The center features 75 workstations and is open 24/7 to all engineering students enrolled in a class offered by the department. Thanks to STF funding, we have been able to upgrade the computers on a 4-year cycle. With this proposal, we once again seek STF funds to replace 51 computers purchased in 2012, The equipment is showing its age and students express dissatisfaction with demanding applications.
