Abstract
This proposal asks for two pieces of equipment for students to use in molecular research projects at FHL. The first piece of equipment will allow photographs of conventional PCR products. FHL has a gel doc system now, but the camera and computer are so old that we can not put the computer on line. This really makes it difficult for students to record their results. The other machine is a quantitative PCR (qPCR) machine, which will allow students to do state of the art quantitation of mRNA.
