Abstract
We propose open-access equipment for the UW Clean Energy Institute (CEI) to characterize solar energy harvesting device performance. Equipment will consist of a solar simulator and a quantum efficiency system. It will be part of an open access "CEI Research Training Testbed," providing an alternative energy "maker space" for educational and research purposes for users across campus. CEI offers shared facilities accessed by students from 9 departments with more users joining every week.
