Abstract
This proposal is for a Virtual Reality development suite at DXARTS. The package includes two VR headsets/high-performance computers, portable 3D rig, and image-processing/game-engine software, enabling an authoring and distribution workflow for original virtual reality content with industry-standard systems. The suite exposes students to emerging technology in an early stage, encouraging innovation in this growing market, and expands upon research and STF items already present at DXARTS.
