Abstract
We request rugged equipment with high quality technology. They are universally beneficial in ecology, geology, and other interdisciplinary studies. This specific equipment is not readily available through STF grants or labs. Many students emphasized that having this equipment available would increase the quality of their research projects. Additionally, it would strengthen undergraduate cutting-edge research at UW. Based on feedback, acquiring equipment with this technology has high priority.
