Abstract
This proposal requests funds to replace Dawg Prints’ aging flatbed scan station fleet, located in the UW Libraries, with new book-friendly overhead scan stations. With the added ease of an overhead scanner combined with the more power CPU and larger touchscreens on the scan stations we anticipate 1,200,000-1,400,000 documents scanned in the upcoming year in approximately 200,000-220,000 unique sessions. This new technology will give students more flexibility in our world class research libraries
