Abstract
CSE proposes to retrofit 6 reclaimed Dell workstations with new GPU cards and SSDs. We kindly ask for funding for six NVidia GTX 980 cards (4GB, 2048 CUDA cores) and six 1TB SSDs to create six High-performance GPU systems. We request these to satisfy numerous requests from our ugrad major students for access to these unique and powerful computing resources. These systems would be deployed in the CSE General Computer Laboratories and would be available for use by all CSE students.
