Abstract
A key facet of the Mechanical Engineering curriculum is the ME499/498 & ME 495 design classes. Every graduate is expected to be involved in the design, analysis, and proof of an engineering system. One of the most popular design projects is the Formula SAE open cockpit race car. We are hoping to get a high power versatile DC power supply to charge our electric car’s accumulator quickly and safely, as well as perform any high voltage or high power tests we need to conduct.
