Abstract
This proposal targets field-research needs of students across the College of the Environment. The deployable data-loggers offer continuous, in situ climate data collection, the waterproof cameras capture georeferenced photos, and the ruggedized laptops enable students in remote settings to use UW’s cutting-edge computing tools and collaborate with others on campus. The equipment complements prior STF-funded tools and facilitates the creation of datasets that may underpin future student research.
