Abstract
The Mechanical Engineering machine shop provides state-of-the-art machinery to many student clubs, research and design programs across campus. But the TM-1P mill, geared towards advanced machinists, has an old controller that has made machining parts much more difficult. The ME machine shop is hoping to upgrade the TM-1P with an improved user interface and controller that will be more useful to students and be more reflective of industry standard practices.
